Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join a team supporting DoD and IC programs.

You will design, develop, deploy, and sustain scalable, cloud-native web apps leveraging Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized services for advanced analytics and data-intensive workloads. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver secure, high-performance solutions using modern cloud, containerization, and microservices

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scale Polygraph is required.
• 14+ years of software engineering experience on DoD/IC-like programs.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 4 years can substitute for the degree.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for enterprise apps.
• Experience with Flask, Django, or Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience building data pipelines and enterprise data workflows.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain scalable, cloud-native web applications.
• Architect cloud-native apps using Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services in Python or Java.
• Build scalable data pipelines for enterprise analytics workloads.
• Create interactive dashboards using React, Solid, or similar.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices.
• Monitor production, troubleshoot performance, and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, PMs, and stakeholders.
