Job summary

You will architect, design, and deliver backend services in Java, Spring, and cloud-native stacks, focusing on reliability and scalability for Apple Retail data and online and physical store experiences. You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and pursue performance optimizations, observability, and secure distributed systems, with deep JVM insight, microservices, and messaging expertise.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years professional software development.
• 4+ years Java, concurrency and performance optimization.
• Strong OOP, data structures, patterns (GoF).
• Experience with Spring ecosystem and microservices.
• Cloud/IaC, containerization, orchestration experience.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, document, and maintain backend code.
• Lead software projects and coordinate across distributed teams.
• Focus on reliability, scalability, security and performance.
