Job summary

Google in Mountain View is seeking a senior software leader to set the technical direction for Android backup ecosystem integrations, build OEM client SDKs, and evolve the backup engine.

You will drive reliability and resource efficiency under Android OS constraints, design client-server synchronization, and mentor teams to adopt best practices and reviews across cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5 years of Android development and product testing and launch experience.
• 3 years of software design and architecture experience.

Job description

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 8 years of software development experience, 5 years of Android development and product testing and launch experience, and 3 years of software design and architecture experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, extensive data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership, work in complex cross-functional organizations, and experience designing SDKs or modular platforms for partner applications.
