Job summary

Flex is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the MarTech team. You will lead full-stack marketing services and customer-facing web experiences that power acquisition and retention.

The stack includes Java/Spring Boot on the backend and TypeScript/React on the frontend, running on AWS. You’ll collaborate across marketing, data, product, design, and engineering to launch features and experiments, including campaigns and lifecycle messaging.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with React (or React Native).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience building high-quality web/mobile UIs to spec.
• Proficient in Spring, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOA, and event-driven design.
• AWS experience (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB) and containers.
• Ability to integrate third-party APIs and SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Build and own full-stack marketing services and web experiences.
• Design and develop 24/7 high-scale APIs and data pipelines on AWS with Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript/React.
• Embed measurement and integrate ad/analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, data, product, design, and engineering to ship features.
