Job summary

Lambda leads the development of its bare-metal Managed Kubernetes platform and related services for Slurm, inference, and AIOps, guiding reliability and platform operations across compute, networking, storage, and security teams.

The role requires seasoned leadership in Kubernetes at scale, production-quality Go and Python, and expertise in GPU orchestration on large infrastructure with a track record of shipping distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of software, platform engineering, or SRE experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes at scale is required.
• Production-quality Go and Python skills are required.

Job description

Lead the technical vision and development of Lambda’s bare-metal Managed Kubernetes platform and related services for Slurm, inference, and AIOps. Coordinate infrastructure requirements across compute, networking, storage, and security teams while guiding engineering practices, reliability, and platform operations.

Requirements: Requires 10+ years of software, platform engineering, or SRE experience, including at least five years focused on Kubernetes at scale, expert Kubernetes knowledge, and production-quality Go and Python skills. Candidates should bring GPU orchestration expertise, broad infrastructure and distributed-systems knowledge, managed-service experience, and a record of technical leadership.
