Job summary

Waymo, a leader in autonomous driving technology, is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide backend and frontend teams across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate across PM, UX, legal, and operations, taking ownership of initiatives and driving them to completion.

The role requires 6+ years in backend and frontend, 5+ years of people management, and proven leadership skills in product development lifecycles. Strong experience with C++, Angular/React is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years backend experience with C++, Spanner, or related tech.
• 6+ years frontend experience with Angular/JavaScript/React.
• 5+ years people management and leadership experience.
• Experience defining technical roadmaps and product development lifecycle.
