Job summary

Stripe designs, builds, and maintains container infrastructure used across its stack, aiming to improve scalability, reliability, automation, and observability. You will lead cross-team technical decisions, mentor engineers, plan roadmaps, and debug production issues across the stack.

Job description

Design, build, and maintain container infrastructure used across Stripe, while improving its scalability, reliability, automation, and observability. Lead cross-team technical decisions, mentor engineers, plan infrastructure roadmaps, and debug production issues across the stack.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or an equivalent field, 15+ years of software development or DevOps automation experience, and substantial experience with networking, Kubernetes, cloud providers, and distributed infrastructure. Candidates should also have led large-scale cross-team projects and have experience with reliability and security, low-downtime migrations, mentoring, and operational metrics and alerting.
