Resonant Inc. in Goleta, CA seeks a Staff Software Engineer to join its software team, developing and operating advanced design tools for RF filters.

You will work with software, electrical, and physics engineers to deliver scalable solutions that support Resonant’s proprietary XBAR technology and multi-cloud workloads. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering (or related field) is required.
• 6+ years of software development experience with ownership of multiple components/systems.
• Experience defining, planning, and leading technical goals and projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and extend our design and analysis software suite for RF tooling.
• Develop scalable, high-performance tools and cloud-based workflows.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, and physics teams to deliver robust software solutions.
