Job summary

Parkade is seeking an experienced front-end engineer to own and advance our customer-facing web platform. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will shape architecture, UX, and performance across the stack.

We expect 5+ years of hands-on experience building commercial applications, with a strong UI/UX focus and a collaborative mindset in a fast-moving startup environment in San Francisco.

Qualifications

Parkade is a B2B2C SaaS platform that modernizes private parking for apartments, mixed-use, and offices. We help buildings move away from the headaches of stickers, hang tags, and spreadsheets to a fully automated, self-serve app for parking management, enforcement, and customer service.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer with a strong interest in and background in front-end web development. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will be a critical player who makes a meaningful impact and the technical decisions you make matter.

We’re looking for someone who will

• Care deeply about the product and user experience.

• Be forward thinking in terms of pragmatic and responsible AI adoption for your own dev work and for the team.

• Make sound architectural and design decisions informed by your past achievements and mistakes.

• Produce prolifically with AI assistance and the mature judgment of a staff engineer.

• Enjoy a fast moving, dynamic startup environment.

• Be curious, continuously and proactively level up your skills.

• Rely on at least 5 years of hands-on front-end experience building commercial applications.
