Job summary

Intuit is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to build cutting-edge web and mobile interfaces, embedding AI features and scalable architecture. You will convert customer insights into tangible UI concepts, lead a small, cross-functional team, and drive end-to-end frontend delivery across platforms.

You will mentor engineers on modern frontend patterns, test-driven practices, and AI-enabled improvements to optimize performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS.
• Experience in the Software design/architecture process and SDLC.
• Experience with web services (REST/SOAP).
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Expertise with unit testing and TDD.
• Familiar with scalable, available web apps and large-scale consumer facing apps.
• Proficient in building functional AI models using prompting and AutoML.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML, CSS
• Experience in the Software design/architecture process, and the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiar with the development challenges inherent with highly scalable and available web applications
• Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web or mobile applications
• Experience with open source technologies (if no practical work experience w/ Big Data, or cutting edge front-end technology—you’re prototyping and/or researching the up and coming technology and solutions
• Proficient in building functional AI models using techniques such as prompting and AutoML
• Skilled in monitoring the performance of models in production and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
• Possesses an in-depth understanding of AI integration and can lead the integration process effectively, while coaching junior engineers on how to leverage AI
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers
