The ideal candidate will utilize systems programming expertise, ensuring technical oversight on edge systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and Kubernetes is needed. Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and Shell scripting.
• Experience instrumenting low-level system metrics.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale core platform services end-to-end.
• Serve as the team's subject matter expert on edge software.
• Build and maintain lightweight, high-reliability agents deployed on customer VMs.
• Instrument low-level system metrics using eBPF.
• Own agent packaging and deployment via Helm charts.
• Design and evolve scraping logic for metrics collection.
• Partner with adjacent infrastructure teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.
