As a Staff Software Engineer on our crypto product team, you will combine deep understanding of blockchain protocols with strong product instincts to decide what we build, how it works technically, and how it should feel for the customer.

Qualifications

• A track record of Staff-level impact building customer-facing products or platforms.
• Deep experience with distributed systems at scale and production operations.
• Ability to translate protocol or infrastructure knowledge into customer features.
• Ownership of regulated or high-stakes financial movement or blockchain integrations.
• Experience designing security-sensitive systems and threat modeling.
• Comfort partnering with product stakeholders as a peer in shaping what gets built.
• Experience leading complex production incidents and improving practices.
• Strong influence, communication, and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand blockchain protocols deeply and translate into product decisions.
• Build product-facing capabilities involving onchain data and asset movement.
• Define crypto experiences by balancing feasibility, value, and tradeoffs.
• Integrate with custody, key management, and security primitives.
• Design APIs and abstractions to ship features quickly without protocol leakage.
• Establish standards for reliability, observability, and data integrity.
• Lead design reviews, incident responses, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise technical judgment on the team.
