Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years testing and launching software products.
• 3 years in software design and architecture.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years in a matrixed organization with cross-functional projects.
• Experience launching full-stack mobile features for consumers.
• Interest in tech innovations and thriving amid ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own and build new creativity features leveraging gen media tech and rapid prototyping.
• Steer both short- and long-term technical investments and set team direction.
• Lead collaboration across Photos to expand tools’ reach and capabilities.
• Help the team grow to own features end-to-end across the stack.
• Bring DevAI breakthroughs to elevate the broader engineering team.
