Job summary

Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Google Cloud Business Platform in Sunnyvale, CA. You will lead technical strategy, own architecture, and drive end-to-end improvements across enterprise-scale sales systems.

You will collaborate with RevOps, sales, legal, and IT to define multi-year roadmaps, evaluate new technologies, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions to support multi-currency global transactions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture for the enterprise sales systems landscape, ensuring alignment with broader corporate infrastructure and business objectives.
Design scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions capable of managing enterprise-level transaction volumes, complex multi-currency pricing, and global sales processes.
Partner with RevOps, sales leadership, legal, and IT to build and maintain a multi-year technical roadmap for sales systems.
Lead technical evaluations and build Proof-of-Concepts for new sales technologies, integrations, and architectural patterns.
Define the master data architecture for accounts, contacts, products, and agreements.
