Google Cloud, Netsoft is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to own critical distributed systems and architecture for high-scale infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 5 years of experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the team, design, and architecture to build customer facing available, reliable, scalable systems.
• Involve in software design and implementations, adhere to software best practices and architectural considerations on a project-wide level.
• Collaborate across teams effectively, manage complex requirements and convert the outcomes into simplified solutions.
• Understand the AI/ML applications, performance monitoring, identify key problem areas, work with various dependency teams, prioritize and drive solutions effectively to consensus.
• Strategize and drive projects to improve development velocity, engineering excellence, and product excellence.
