Job summary

Amigo is hiring a Staff Backend/Infra Engineer to build core services behind our agent platform that handles millions of conversations monthly. You will own services end to end from design through production, focusing on concurrency, reliability, and clean design.

You’ll work on high-throughput systems, ensure availability, and improve performance, observability, and health across services while handling sensitive healthcare data with care. On-site in NYC or SF.

As a Staff Backend/Infra Engineer at Amigo, you’ll build the core services behind our agent platform. The systems you own handle millions of conversations a month, so concurrency, reliability, and clean design are the job itself, not an afterthought. You’ll own services end to end, from design through production.

• Experience in a regulated or high-reliability domain (healthcare, finance, legal)
