Job summary

Redolent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Back-End for a direct client project in Dallas, TX. This 6+ month assignment focuses on delivering scalable backend services for the Express Delivery initiative.

You will implement robust Java/J2EE back-end components with Spring, Python and RESTful APIs, work with SQL/NoSQL stores, and uphold code quality through testing tools. Immediate start, DOE rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6 years’ experience or Master's Degree with 4 years experience.
• Full stack development experience: Java/J2EE, Spring, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, HTTP/REST, SQL/NoSQL, Git.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable, high performing applications across multiple production systems.
• Experience with IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years’ experience or Master's Degree + 4 years experience building scalable e-commerce applications
• Full Stack Development experience - Java/J2EE, Spring, Python, Javascript, HTML/CSS, HTTP/REST, SQL/NoSQL, Git
• 5+ years of experience with building scalable, high performing and robust applications; design, develop, test and operate code across multiple productions systems
• Experience with Intellij, Eclipse or other IDE development tools
• Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code
• Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with no-sql technologies like Cassandra, couchbase, Flume or Hbase.
• Experience with big data methodologies involving Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, Maven)
• Experience with Code Quality Governance related tools (Sonar, Gerrit, PMD, FindBugs, Checkstyle, Emma, Cobertura, JIRA, etc)
• Writing code for large-scale Analytics systems that are capable of ingesting, managing, storing and analyzing hundreds of terabytes of data
