Job summary

The Engineering team at MoneyLion is looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to contribute to Product feature development and architecture. You’ll be key in making decisions regarding technology and design while mentoring junior engineers.

Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience with Typescript and Node.js, along with skills in Agile practices. The role offers a hybrid work model and competitive salary ranging between $185K to $200K.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Extensive development experience across multiple domains.
• Experience scaling and managing teams of 3+ engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain software supporting Product initiatives using Typescript.
• Enforce best practices in code for sophisticated software development.
• Review requirements and translate to executable development plans.

Skills

Experience with Typescript

Experience with Node.js

Experience with Python

Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, Cursor)
