Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Staff level Software Engineer to accelerate our manufacturing systems and operations with the latest LLMs and custom fine-tuned models. You will move fast from whiteboard concepts to production-grade solutions, collaborating across teams to build impact-ready systems.

You will prototype, scale, and ship end-to-end backend services and APIs, leveraging Go, Python, or Java, and integrating with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and related platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a senior role across the full tech stack.
• Expert in backend services and HTTP APIs.
• Experience integrating with APIs from modern LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
• Prototyping to production and scaling across orgs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and delivery mindset.
