Job summary

Google's Android Laptop and Tablet System Software team seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own critical system software projects for laptop and tablet platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to push desktop/mobile sensing technologies, review code, and drive kernel-level framework developments for next generation experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute plans to bring-up, debug and validate designs to achieve functional and performance goals.
• Learn Android sensor framework and adapt for Desktop form factors.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams and engineering managers to develop kernel HAL and framework for next generation sensing technologies.
