Job summary

Intuit Fintech Platform team is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build scalable applications, including prototypes and POCs, with leadership across technical execution and cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive delivery of AI-enhanced solutions, leveraging GenAI concepts to advance our fintech platform in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience designing and developing large-scale software solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in cloud solutions, especially AWS, and strong CI/CD/DevOps familiarity.
• Passion for growing technical skills to serve customers.
• Motivated, results-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable applications, prototypes and POCs.
• Lead requirements gathering, technical design, project planning, implementation, and testing.
• Mentor engineers, provide architectural guidance, and lead small teams to solve complex problems.
• Create clear technical documentation and communicate design choices effectively across teams.
• Identify and address defects throughout development, release and post-production phases.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and manage risk.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, influence technology direction, and drive strategic decisions.
• Own end-to-end customer problems and deliver robust, elegant solutions with AI-enhanced capabilities.
