Job summary

In this position, you apply AI and ML (including Gemini/GenAI) to deliver innovative ad experiences, owning end-to-end delivery from infrastructure to UI and collaborating with Research and DeepMind on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years in ML design and ML infrastructure.
• 5 years in testing, launching software products, and 3 years in software design/architecture.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
• Experience applying AI (Gemini, GenAI, LLM) towards solving real-world technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-team goals, timelines, and coach distributed engineers.
• Apply AI strategically to solve layout and interaction problems.
• Collaborate with YouTube Organic product teams to re-envision the app experience.
• Own full-stack ad experience improvements from infra to UI.
• Drive next-gen YouTube ad experiences across Watch and Shorts surfaces.
