Job summary

Intuit in Mountain View is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help build next-gen financial experiences in QuickBooks. You will lead customer-facing applications across web and mobile, delivering end-to-end solutions with an end-to-end one-team mindset.

The role emphasizes 70% hands-on development, mentoring engineers, and guiding design and architecture across teams. Strong React/JavaScript, Redux, React Native, and QA with TDD are required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience architecting and developing high-scale web applications.
• 7+ years of expertise in React and JavaScript with single-page architecture.
• Deep knowledge of web technologies including Redux, React Native, and modern frameworks.
• 7+ years of experience with object-oriented languages, experienced with Java and Python.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven tools to accelerate development.
• Proven experience with test automation including TDD and comprehensive integration testing.
• Strong background in relational database design and large-scale data implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and act as a technical leader across teams.
