Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will lead cross‑functional engineering initiatives and design scalable systems to deliver cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong backend skills, and a proven ability to mentor engineers and improve reliability and observability across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in at least one of distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.

Location:100% Remote (U.S.)

Position Type:Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range:$100,000–$180,000 Annually

Experience Required:8+ years

• Familiarity with FinOps and cost-aware engineering practices.
