Plus AI, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive the development of customer-facing AI features and scalable systems. You will work closely with product and engineering to turn ideas into production-ready capabilities for tens of thousands of users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping features to end users and experience developing generative AI products.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, especially while taking 0 to 1 projects from concept through production.
• Strong intuition for design and a high, detail-oriented bar for user experiences.
• Experimentation mindset and comfort operating in an ambiguous environment.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js, and experience with Prisma and AWS.

Plus AI helps consultants, sales teams, educators, and other professionals create and edit slides faster, so they spend less time formatting, and more time refining their ideas and engaging with customers.

We built Plus AI to integrate directly into the tools professionals already use (PowerPoint and Google Slides), so it's easy to learn, and customers don't have to make any changes to their existing workflows.

About the role

As a staff software engineer at Plus, you'll be working closely with our product and engineering team on building and shipping customer-facing products to tens of thousands of paying customers.

You'll be expected to lead the development of new AI capabilities from prototype to production, work with our entire team on product strategy, planning, and feature scoping, and contribute to our team's unique culture and processes.

Examples of what you'll work on

• Creating next-gen AI systems that allow our customers to create beautiful, on-brand presentations using their custom presentation templates
• Building agentic AI workflows, so our customers can easily use Plus across different platforms (e.g., email, Slack, Teams)
• Prototyping new systems to dynamically generate customized slide decks for prospective customers

What we're looking for

• Top quartile salary and equity. We're targeting a salary range of $240-280k for this role.

• $500 monthly stipend to outsource tasks that are not a good use of your time.
