Job summary

Okta is seeking an experienced Staff Site Reliability Engineer for the Federal SRE team within the Emerging Products Group. You will lead design and operations of highly reliable cloud services, emphasizing automation, observability, and secure infrastructure for federal customers.

Ideal candidates will have TS/SCI clearance, IL6 familiarity, and hands-on experience with AWS networking, Terraform, and container technologies.

• 8+ years experience in a Cloud Network Engineer role or related.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable network solutions for Okta Federal SRE.
• Maintain a highly available cloud infrastructure edge for the Okta identity platform.
• Collect and analyze data to identify root causes for network events.
• Automate AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Evolve the system to improve efficiency, scalability, and velocity.

Ability to implement a highly available VPC network, including inter-vpc connectivity. Working knowledge of stateless and stateful firewalls.
