Position Details
The California Department of Social Services aims to serve, protect, and support Californians in need, fostering wellbeing and addressing systemic inequities. The Central Office Unit (COU) supports the Office of Equity through administrative support, special projects, and fostering diversity and inclusion within the department.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be organized, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing projects, supporting the Office of Equity's goals, and ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
