• Perform analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures including engine mount frames, cowls, fairings, ducts, and aeroshells.
• Perform hand calculations as the primary check and sanity basis for all structural analysis.
• Generate and run static and dynamic finite element models (NASTRAN or equivalent) for structural components and assemblies.
• Conduct loads analysis, vibration analysis, and crashworthiness analysis on flight-critical structural hardware.
• Develop analysis in direct support of FAA certification substantiation, including STC-level stress reports and supporting documentation.
• Write clear, cert-ready stress analysis documents suitable for FAA/DER submittal.
• Build and maintain standardized stress analysis templates to streamline future certification substantiation work.
• Collaborate with the Principal Structures Engineer and cross-functional engineering to keep analysis current with design and loads.

Role and Responsibilities:
