Job summary

Mysten Labs seeks a seasoned Security Engineer to serve as the primary security partner for the Walrus team, embedding security from design through release. You will lead security assessments for new features and drive actionable remediation plans across the Mysten ecosystem.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
8+ years of industry experience in security engineering at staff level or equivalent.
Experience as a security generalist across infrastructure, app, and crypto security.
Proficient in automated security tooling and AI/ML for security improvements.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary security partner for the Walrus team, embedding security practices throughout the lifecycle.
Lead security assessments for new Walrus features and drive remediation plans.
Foster a security-by-design culture across Walrus and Mysten.
Leverage AI-driven tooling to identify and remediate security risks at scale.
