You will bridge hardware dependencies with containerized Kubernetes topologies and cloud edge environments as the hands-on technical owner for end-to-end platform stability. Qualifications

• 8+ years in system-level SDET, platform engineering, or embedded testing.
• Strong Linux, networking, and IPC knowledge.
• Experience with Kubernetes and local cloud emulation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end local test environments in San Jose, mirroring edge-to-cloud topologies, hardware interfaces, and localized system deployments.
• Architect local Kubernetes clusters and cloud emulator harnesses to enable fully offline, system-level validation.
• Profile OS-level resource usage and run hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or local service-level automated suites.
• Maintain the physical/virtual San Jose lab environment and build automated orchestration tools to reset, patch, and reconfigure test rigs.
