ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Embedded Verification Engineer to lead verification for embedded software on target hardware and to develop automated test suites. You will work with cross-functional teams to configure hardware, maintain test benches, and drive test automation, contributing to robust validation across Diagnostics, Communication, and Bootloader components.

This role will support embedded software verification across Diagnostics, Communication, and Bootloader components. The role will also support hardware integration into test benches, test-bench maintenance, troubleshooting, and test automation.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (MS preferred)
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred
• Experience testing low-level embedded software
• Experience developing hardware- and software-based tests from requirements
• Experience converting manual tests into automated tests
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and test environments
• Experience with test scripting and automation

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is beneficial but is not required:

• Automotive testing experience
• Experience with Automotive Ethernet
• CAN/CAN-FD, LIN
• ISO-14229 diagnostic standards
• Vector CANoe or similar tools
• Jenkins
• Git/GitLab
• Python automation
• On-chip debugging tools such as Lauterbach
• Automotive hardware/PCBA-level debugging
• Vehicle-level testing and debugging

Salary Range

• $170,000 - 180,000
• The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
