Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Stroke Unit on the night shift. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, perform ongoing assessments, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient outcomes.

The role supports a 24/7/365 care environment with emphasis on safety and quality. The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, a current BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred after five years of service.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the State of Ohio, or in good standing via multi-state compact.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment or as stated by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document outcomes and revise care plans with the care team.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to meet clinical quality and safety targets.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, and UAPs in a high-reliability organization environment.
• Provide 24/7/365 nursing coverage as part of Stroke Unit operations.
