Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in diverse acute care settings. The role is within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and operates 24/7/365 with a 5:30am–4:00pm shift.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license (multi-state compact may apply), BLS certification, and a BSN with at least five years of employment experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.

• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and revises plans.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement for quality and efficiency.
• Operations - Supports safe, high-quality patient care within the PACU/OR continuum.

(Department has scheduled staff to operate 24/7/365).
