Temple Health in Philadelphia seeks an experienced RN to care for outpatients during physician visits or telephone encounters. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care under the direction of a physician or APC, applying nursing process and collaborating with patients and families.

The role directs nursing support staff, adheres to standards of nursing practice, and may require professional education or additional certifications depending on specialty area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2 years experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• General experience in case management preferred.
• PA RN license required; BLS required; multi-state compact RN license or PA license required.

Responsabilités

• Care for outpatients during physician visits or telephone encounters.
• Assess, implement and evaluate care under the direction of the physician or APC.
• Collaborate with patient and family, peers and health care team to individualize care.
• Direct nursing support staff in provision of patient care per standards and policies.
