$30,000 sign-on bonus! Stamford Hospital is looking for an experienced, clinically competent Operating Room nurse to join our prestigious team!
The Staff RN will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff on the assigned unit. Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role. Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested. Adhere to all Stamford Hospital’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Provide safe and therapeutic care using the values inherent in our hospital culture.

The Operating Room nurse will function in the circulating and/or scrub role in the Operating Room. This role will effectively deliver perioperative care to surgical patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The Operating Room nurse will gain experience working with advanced surgical technologies such as O-Arm, Intuitive Xi (the newest version of the DaVinci Robot), Stryker spine navigation, ENT Technology, a Zeego Hybrid Room, as well as cardiac surgeries.
