Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care, following physician orders and established guidelines. The RN must operate within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Required GA RN license, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN is preferred and additional life-support credentials or unitspecific certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; two years RN experience and life-support credentials are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
