OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care in the Obstetrics Unit 1. The role operates on a 7 team system with a night shift and a 36-hour work week.
The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Requirements include a current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred after five years of employment.

Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. (Department has scheduled staff to operate 24/7/365). The RN accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
