Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Forsyth Float Pool, providing care to diverse patient populations across Acute Care units. Self-scheduling enables flexible coverage and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering nursing care per physician orders, while adhering to established guidelines and state practice acts. GA RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN and ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Visual color acuity depending on unit.
• Additional life support certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or clinical specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adhere to Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
