Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will manage care for an assigned group of patients, aligning with hospital philosophy and values of collaboration and empowerment in a dynamic care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in line with hospital philosophy and policies.
• Demonstrates collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment in practice.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
4. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology.

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
