Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide nursing care following physician orders and guidelines. The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing school and a valid RN license in Georgia.

The ideal candidate will also hold BLS certification and have a BSN degree and prior nursing experience. Work hours are from 7pm to 7am, supporting our commitment to quality healthcare.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in Georgia without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Preferred

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
