Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Pickerington. The role provides general nursing care to patients along the health-illness continuum, collaborating with the care team and adhering to nursing scope as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license in Ohio, and BLS certification. It is a 24-hour per week day shift within a High Reliability Organization focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.
• RN license with Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Experience in Emergency Department not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis of patient health status (30%).
• Outcomes identification, planning and documenting interventions (30%).
• Implementation and evaluation of care with the team (20%).
• Participate in process improvement to improve quality and safety (10%).
• Support department operations as a part of a multidisciplinary team (10%).
