Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a registered nurse for night shift to join our team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise patient care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities include providing family-centered nursing care, educating patients and families from admission to discharge, documenting thoroughly, and coordinating with physicians to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Must be able to physically exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
• Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process.
• Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.

Pay Rate: $33.50-$49.60 hourly
