Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within policies and demonstrate professional growth while coordinating care with the nursing team.

The role requires GA RN licensure and BCLS certification; hospital experience is preferred, with new grads eligible for consideration in PRN or hospital-based shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia (GA RN) or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
