Job summary

Simile, The Simulation Company, is hiring a Member of Technical Staff in Research in San Francisco to train, evaluate, deploy, and monitor models of human behavior.

You will own the research cycle end-to-end—from designing experiments to deployment—working across the stack and ensuring rigorous scientific methods become production-ready.

We seek Python experts with ML frameworks, GPU experience, and a passion for advancing state-of-the-art in behavioral simulations.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and ML framework experience.
• Experience running large-scale experiments on GPUs.
• Ability to reproduce and document ML research.
• Ownership of research from data processing to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Extract insight from large, unique data sources (unstructured interviews, polls, behavioral data).
• Write code for NVIDIA chips and run GPU-based experiments.
• Design rigorous evaluations beyond standard benchmarks to validate simulations.
• Stay current with simulation research and document advances clearly.
• Bridge research hypotheses to production-ready models.
