We seek a PhD/MS-level researcher to design and run experiments, implement state-of-the-art methods, and lead small projects while collaborating with a talented team.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Strong software engineering with experience building large-scale systems.
• Experience with large-scale ETL workflows and training data preparation.
• Deep understanding of large-scale ML, language models, distributed training, and scaling.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred).
• Ability to balance research goals with practical engineering constraints.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment with bias toward action.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passionate about advancing AI research.

Responsibilities

• Research and build solutions across algorithms, scaling laws, data processing, optimizers, and model architecture.
• Design and run experiments to advance understanding of scaling large language models.
• Implement state-of-the-art methods from the deep learning literature.
• Lead small research projects independently while collaborating on larger initiatives.
• Optimize training infrastructure for efficient scaling.
• Contribute across the stack, from low-level optimizations to high-level model design.
