Job summary

Verily is seeking a Senior Health Data Scientist to design and analyze health studies using statistical and epidemiological methods, supporting decision-making.

You will oversee research projects from design to dissemination, ensure quality of analysis plans, data, code and outputs, and collaborate with Care Delivery, Product, and Commercial teams to demonstrate the portfolio’s effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or higher in a health-related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years in statistical analysis or biostatistics within healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical programming.
  • Experience with health economic and epidemiological methods and study designs.
  • Experience with observational healthcare data (claims/EHR).
  • Experience with advanced statistical or machine learning methods.
  • Experience with products/digital health solutions is a plus.
  • Strong publication record and study design experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze health studies using statistical and epidemiological methods to support decision-making

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test service delivery models
  • Evaluate the impact of new product features and AI on engagement and clinical outcomes
