Job summary
Shield AI is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across the product lifecycle and ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and safety. You will develop robust quality systems aligned with AS9100, lead RCA/CAPA investigations, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive improvements.
You will mentor teammates, shape quality strategy, and contribute to next-gen aerospace technology with hands-on involvement in NPI and production-scale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering roles
- Experience leading RCA/CAPA implementations
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality standards
- Experience supporting NPI and scaling production
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and SPC
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
Responsibilities
- Lead quality initiatives across the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain AS9100-aligned quality systems.
- Own RCA/CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
- Support NPI and production scale-up activities.
