Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Psychologist to join our BHCL team as a program developer, trainer and psychotherapist within three Residential Units on campus. Veterans in the Residential Care section require a residential level of care for psychological and substance use issues as they transition to independence.

Applicants must hold an APA/PCSAS/CPA-accredited doctoral degree, complete a VA-acceptable internship, and maintain licensure.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from APA/PCSAS/CPA-accredited program or approved equivalent per VA rules.
• Completed APA/CPA internship or VA-accepted equivalent with appropriate supervision.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice psychology in the United States.
• Ability to work across multiple residential units and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Function as program developer, trainer and psychotherapist within three Residential Units on campus.
• Support veterans in transition from homelessness and unemployment to independent living and employment.
• Collaborate with the Residential Care team to coordinate treatments and transitions.
