Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the United States is seeking a Staff Psychologist to join the Primary Care- Mental Health Integration program.

The co-located psychologist provides functional assessment, triage, brief interventions, and consultative services within primary care teams. The role requires a doctoral degree in psychology, licensure or eligibility, and demonstrated ability to work with Veterans in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Must have US citizenship.
• English language proficiency required for VA clinical practice.
• Doctoral degree in psychology from APA/CPA/PCSAS-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, triage, and brief interventions for Veterans.
• Deliver evidence-based psychological treatments within a primary care/mental health integration setting.
• Supervise practicum students and provide training to healthcare staff.
• Engage in program evaluation and quality improvement activities.
