Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs invites applications for a Psychologist (GS-11 to GS-13) position. Candidates must meet education, internship, and licensure requirements, be proficient in English, and hold a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA/PCSAS/CPA accredited program.

The appointment may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with details determined by the VHA. Preference is given to fully licensed psychologists with post-graduate experience.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from APA/PCSAS/CPA-accredited program.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken/written).
  • Knowledge of evidence-based psychological treatments and assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based psychotherapies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
